How to utilize photocatalyst ?

Photocatalyst can be activated by exposure to UV. What would happen without light ?

As Figure.1 shows, plenty of photocatalytic glass beads and contamination water were placed into the beaker and exposured to UV.
Although in this case it seemed very effective due to the amount of photocatalytic glass beads, pratically effect of these gray parts become low. as gray parts of expansion figure show

  Thus as Figure .2 shows, the best method to utilize photocatalyst is that all parts of photocatalyst are exposured to UV by making it shallow and expanding exposured area.
